Nothing was wrong with him in and of himself. I just don't like it when companies do something radical with major character that everyone knows isn't going to last. If you want to switch Superman's powers, fine with me, but make it clear that the change will last for a long time. 🙁

Wolverine will win, you know how:
You see what he'll do is eat a chunk of kryptonite, but it won't kill him since his healing factor will stop it from poisoning him. Then in the fight, when superman uses his speed, Wolverine will fart releasing a kryptonite gas cloud in the air, poisoning Superman. 🙂
