what is the worlds problem?

what is the world's problem... first off: lack of tolerance. we live in one place: earth... we need to learn how to live together. secondly: power. to quote lotr "... and 9 rings were given to the race of men, who above all else desired power". and what do men with power want..? MORE power. and how do you get more power..? WAR. the invasion of another sovereign state. this is how the romans did it. this is how the spaniards did it. this is how the nazis did it.

world peace is far from happening. there are 6 billion men on this planet. no 2 think alike... you do the math...

i kinda agree, but all the atempts to take over the world or even a part of it have failed
sometimes war brings good thing
ike the freedome for wimen of iraq and stuff like that

either that or the division of a country, ie. korea. war brings out a lot of things, mostly bad. death, suffering and all that comes with it. wars will come and go as the wind blows on. what the outcome will, only time can tell...

Wow... thank you, rusky! Your the first one to stand up for me... Wheee! 💃
What about me?! I made a whole thread saying how great you were 😠 😆

The world's problem is simple: The religious. Before all you people who don't like my opinions start up again, I'm going to give you my full view. I have absolutely NO problem with belief in a higher power, whateever you may call it. I have a problem with what people in the name of said power. For instance, The Bible, Torah, Qu'ran; none are accurate or true. Nothing that they teach came from any higher power. These 'holy' books were written by bigoted mankind. But anyway, to my point.

The religious, with their 'righteousness and truth,' have poisoned our way of thinking. It can drive us to war, controversy, political massacre, actual massacre [perfect examples are the Crusades, the original Friday the 13th (There's an actual event that happened to make this day unlucky), the persecution of women, homosexuals, people of other races and religions]. Religion causes no end of problems.

well... i aint sure bout the dumb ass president... but well.. i think... the worlds biggest prob would be.... uh... therer too much ass holes and bitches around.... theyre sooo over populated!

i agree Religion makes people focus on the things that are diffrent about us instead of the things that are the same, Religion should bring us together but it doesnt.

Leave politics out of this (i.e. presidents) and this can remain open.

Ooooh...early warning from raz 🙂

This so far is the best answer. *stands up and applauds*

it aint because ppl disagree that we will never get world peace, if you take a look at history, say the last 200 years, you will notice that mankind in general has increased'the time and money spent on: Avoiding war, Helping third world countries, keeping the planet safe, making it a better place and so forth...

I am not saying the world is a great place or anything like that what I do think is that the world is "slowly" evolving into a better world

Our world is evolving faster than before. So are the weapons, and the technology behind them. Since the discoveries of the Mahantan project the world has become very unsafe. I support disarmament, but certain Nations refuse to do it (N.Korea). The politicians of those nations need to realize that their weapons are a threat to our world. Disarmament nukes policies should be re-inforce by the UN.

well not only N korea

the US and Russia still have the biggest amounts of WMDs

True, and that is why I keep saying the UN needs to be more enforceable to those nations that break any WMD treaty.

1. the US president is dumb...but he's an ass kicker
2. the world economy sucks because the US doesn't wanna share the secret of success to the other countries.

read what raz posted again: NO politics

There is no secret of succes... It's just carefull use of available power that has led the us to become even more powerfull..however, the people behind this are still a mystery to me..

what is the worlds problem?
religion

the problem is ppl dont give a crap about anything but themselves

hmm....it's a way of puting it..

well unless all nations dismantle their WDM's the world would be a bit safer, but I don't see that happening, I also think that the UN security council should be redesigned
