Zafira finally found Dumi. She layed her hand on his shoulder. Dumi startled. He turned but instead of a fellow warrior he found his slave. "Zaf...If the pharoah found out, he could have you killed."

"Why would he have us killed?" asked Yuma with a smile as she looked at Dumi intently.

Dumi sighed. "You shouldn't be in here." he explained.

"We have the right to be here you know," said Yuma with a big playful smirk.

Dumi sighed. "I don't want you two getting hurt. If we're attacked, you two would get hurt."

"We don't want you to though," said Yuma with a tear streaking down.

Dumi wiped it away. "Come on. I better escort you two back home." he said.

Zafira nodded.

"Okay," said Yuma regaining her normal cheerfulness.

Zafira looped her arm in Dumi's. They walked back to the house. Zafira was silent.

Yuma didn't talk much because Yuma knew Zafira hurt inside.

Dumi looked down at Zafira. She was actually crying. He kissed her forhead. "Cheer up, Zaf. I promise I'll come back in one piece."

Yuma just looked on as the two hugged as tears swirled down her dirty cheeks. Goodbyes were sad to her.

Dumi left. Zafira stared long at the place he had stood. She couldn't believe that she she could loose everything she had in a simple conflict.

Yuma thought for the thing she lost and sighed longilingly. A temple; a home, job, and a friend.

Zafira walked to her room, fell on her bed, and soed her eyes out.

Yuma patted her head before she lay down on the bed next door worried about Zafira's condition.

Zafira cried herself to sleep. Somethiong she had never done over Dumi...or anyone else for that matter. What was wrong with her?

The next morning, the two glorious armies stared each other down, waiting on the other to make the first move. Naqadar stood alongside his troops, glaring...Waiting to see what the Babalyonians would do first.

Dumi shifted his weight from one foot to the other. HIs armor uncomfortable and the sun making it worse. His sweat stuck to him.

Yuma patted her back absentmindly as she seemed distracted.
