Yuma paused and put her sword down. The night air was chilly so she pulled off her cloak then she turned right into thew pharaoh.

Zafira was cleaning the sword she had been practicing. Dumi walked over and sat on his 'bed' "How's it going?" he asked with a smirk.

Zafira glared. "Farely well"

"Excuse m..." Naqadar grabbed Yuma's face, forced her to look up at him.

"YUMA?! What the hell do you think you're doing here?!"

Zafira blanched. She cursed. Dumi stood and walked over. "Is there something wrong?" he asked trying to draw attention away from Yuma.

Zafira stood in front of Yuma blocking her from view.

Naqadar ignored Dumi and peered straight into Zafira's eyes, almost through them. Zafira had never felt like this before, so cold, a chill, you've never been looked at like that by a warrior before...So blank, almost like you aren't there.

"...Those eyes...Zafira...Damn you two, what the hell are you doing here?.."

Zafira gulped. "Sire, I can explain..." she looked at Dumi and stopped. "But I won't." she said defiantly.

Dumi was shocked. "Sh!t." he said walking over to Zafra. "Why the hell did you do that?" he hissed in a whisper.

Zafira prepared for her death sentence.

"You won't? And why not? Do you not understand that we are here so that people like you can live, peacefully? You'd rather die? I don't understand you. Know what, fine, you think you can handle a battle? Stay...But I highly doubt I'll see you after tomorrow."

Zafira glared. "You bastard." Dumi clamped his hand over her mouth. Zafira pulled it away. "No, Dumi, I'm sick of this shit. He thinks just ecause he's so high and mighty he knows whats best for everyone. Someone should tell him he's not perfect and he doesn't even know everything that goes on in his own kingdom."

Dumi sighed. "Zaf, this is neither the place nor the time. You two really shouldn't be here."

Zaf sighed, "And you think you should. No one should have to go shed the blood of their fellow man. It proves absolutly nothing."

"I understand your feelings, why do you think my father died? Not as the press told you, he died defending our kingdom...Anyway, no man is forced to be here, it's his choice, any may leave at any time. Part of the reason that many do fight is because of those that you call 'high and mighty' that fight along side them...They aren't usually as close to the soldiers as I am but, my life is in their hands and theirs in mine, we have no room for social classes, no room for boundaries."

By this time, a rather large group of soldiers were gathering around. Naqadar pulled Zafira aside, away from the mass. They began to mumble amongst themselves.

"What happened in the past happened in the past, any friendship that we had or any hatrid we had is now gone. Either you learn this and learn it quick or get the hell out, on your own. I guess that you don't realize that I'm not really 'from' my family, it's only my bloodline. I grew up here, on the battlefield, in bloodshead...Don't try to insult me, make me look like a fool, or challenge my authority infront of my troops again or I will personally end you. Got it? Woman or no, you will not cause any distrust in the leader of this army. When soldiers don't trust their leader is when people senselessly die."

Zafira's eyes narrowed. "Screw you. " she said on the verge of just screaming. How dare he. He threatened her. And he was suppose to be pharoah leader whatever. She held her hand up. " I can get this shit from the babylonians. Wait, I forgot. They'd treat me better then you have. Embarrassing...you know nothing of it. But I see now you're just as insecure as me."

"Then go, now. Leave. They are less than 5 miles away, go and see what kind of courtesy they great an Egyptian slave with."

Zafira bit her lip. "You ****ing dumb ass." even zafira was surprised by her words. " I am not leaving Dumi, because unlike you he has a heart and actually cares and he never threatened me."

"Would someone please get these two the hell out of here, I'm sick of babysitting! Put them in jail, at least they'll be safe...I don't think that the Babylonians will hurt prisoners if we fail."

Four burly men came along and grabbed both women and hauled them away, kicking and screaming.

Dumi shook his head. Zafira shouted out. "May the gods curse you." as she was drug away.

Dumi walked up to Naqadar. "I am truly sorry. Zafira is not normally like that."

"That's it!" cried Yuma. "No one controls my fate!" She reached into her pouch and threw a powder around herself and Zafira. One minute they were there the next they were gone.

Zafira coughed uncontrollably as it filled her lungs. She glanced at Yuma then at their new surroundings.

"It's alright...I hope she isn't too upset...I would never hurt her...I just can't let her make my troops loose faith in me, you understand?"

Dumi nodded. "I know what you are saying, but Zaf took it pretty hard. I never saw her wishing the gods cursed anyone." he looked worried.

Just then the four guardscame back and told Naqadar that Zafira and Yuma had disappeared.

Dumi cursed. Zafira was just getting in deeper and deeper trouble. He notice something sparkling and went to pick it up. It was Zafira's necklace that had fallen off during her struggle to get away. DUmi walked over to the pharoh and handed it to him.

Yuma showed swoshed the dust away and showed they were in a village not far from the pharoah's place. "Good magic trick huh?" asked Yuma with a laugh.

Zafira nodded as she finished cleaning the smoke out of her lungs. "Great trick, but I doubt the Pharoh will look for us."
