punk show ????

ok this month here in modesto they are having a punk show called punks vs psychos well im wondering if anyone can tell me about the bands on the bill and they are
f-minus
the bisiness
tiger army
the disasters

now what im wondering is are these reall punk bands or that pop-punk crap mtv all ways plays thinking about going but dont want to if these are pop-punk bands

either no one likes me or i take it no one has heard of these bands

Hey, I've heard of Tiger Army, I kno they were at Warped Tour but to be honest I don't remember what they were like??? F-Minus is gotta chick 😄 It's hardcore sounding too, not bad. Not sure on the others but I kno none of it's poppy!

Tiger Army and The Disasters are what we call "PsychoBilly." They are punk, but are classified as having a subtle swing-esque style, and an old school stand-up bass. The Business and F-Minus are punk bands, and 2 great ones. I would love to go to this show!

yeah i have decided to check it out all i gots is one more ? none of these bands are straight edge right ?
i will be picking up my tix this weekend they are only like 15bucks

Those guys are idiots. I don't mind them because 2 of my favorite bands are straight-edge...Minor Threat and Fugazi(same singer). But for the most part, straight-edge people are idiots.

I never said they didn't. You know what's funny, though? The whole time Ian was with Minor Threat, he smoked pot. How ironic, considering he was such an advocate for the straight-edged movement.

I just found out this show is coming to San Antonio and I'm definitely going.
