Mos Def 👆 great mc.

Black on Both Sides was great.

The New Danger was a bit more experimental, had more rock/soul/jazz/blues...but still a great album.

I heard he has a new show.

Biggy?

i haven't heard about his show?

biggy is good but really really overrated. really overrated. just like pac. REALLY overrated. lyrically he's good, but Ghostface Killah and Raekwon have always said that Biggy is a biter.

It's a poetry show on HBO.

🤨 Who did he bite of?

i dunno i guess they meant Big based his lyrics on mc's that came before him. i dunno.

Yeah Mos hosts Def Poetry Jam..

Biggy is nowhere near as overrated as Pac IMO. Yeah he's overrated, but I'd consider Ready To Die a classic. I don't consider any pac album a classic, and he's still considered the best rapper ever by most.

Yeah well... who doesn't?

Ready to Die IS a classic. Pac i guess doesn't really have a classic album.

He has classic tracks on every album but no consistantly classic albums.

somewhat true

I certainly can't think of anyone. Everyone has influences. Hell, hip hop is a genre based on taking already existing music and twisting it aroung to make something new.

somewhat true ✅

Aesop Rock
C Rayz
Cage
Cannibal Ox
EL-P
Hangar 18
Mr. Lif
Murs
PFAC
RJD2
Rob Sonic
Sa Smash

ima have to say Murs, Mr.Lif, and CanOx

RJD2 and El-P.

The whole Def Jux family. Def Jux is one of the best record labels IMO. Anyone own the Revenge Of The Robots DVD?

no i dont. is it good?

Yeah it's really good. There's a scene where El-P is on stage singing,"Deep Space 9mm" and a kid yells out,"that politics stuff is bullshit"(i might be paraphrasing) and El-P gets really mad and stops the song and says, "get up here and say that in my face" and i guess the kid got up there and said it in his face because El-P slapped him in the face. (you couldn't really see it in the video though, people were in the way) really funny stuff.

😆 slapped him? or punched him? either way thats hilarious 😆

what you guyz think of Living Legends?

Grouch, Eligh, Murs i think the entire group is great.

They're pretty well know in L.A. Are they nationally known? They're okay, could never really get into them except for some of the popular songs. Have you heard of the Visionaries?
