meh. I wouldn't buy it. It's a lot more laid back than College Dropout. It's worth a listen though. D/L it.

I've got to disagree with you there, Mr. Eraserhead.

I've been listening to the album this morning at it is smoooooooooooooother than anything else out there at the moment. The flow is sweet, the hooks and samples are endlessly addictive, the guests are impeccable - shock horror! Even The Game is decent! - and, of course, the production is immaculate.

If you liked 'The College Dropout', you'll love this just the same.

I didn't mean the laid back tone was a bad thing, I actually like that. I still wouldn't buy it, but that's just me. That's why I suggested people d/l it first. His flows and hooks weren't that addictive at all, but that's just to me. It doesn't stand out too much from any of the best albums so far this year from that standpoint. Still, everything is pretty decent. Nothing special, IMO. I'll give it a few more listens of course to see if it grows on me.

I don't know about the whole if you love College Dropout you'll like this album. So far the people I've talked to that liked CD don't really like LR as much. To each his own, I suppose.
