anyone got any ideas on the best little brother album, im gonna make one of them if i like it enough

im not really a Little Brother fan. Phonte is really good though 👆 9th wonder productions get boring at times. i recommend Listening, and their new album Minstrel Show is pretty good too.

can somebody plz post the song or album Vaudeville Villain.

i heard a few phonte songs and they were pretty good, but lately ive been gettin sick of makin cds with just one rapper on it unless i get really into them, so i thought id make his group one instead. thanks for the suggestion

Personally I found him plenty easy to get into. His imagery is a lot less complex than most mc's of his kind, but more vivid too, and his delivery, wordplay and that simple multisyllabic rhyme structure he's invented are addictive as hell.

Actually after a few listens, you'll to become some of a fan

I only started listening to doom a couple months ago. i found out about him through you guys as a matter of fact. ever since then, all i listen to is underground rap.

So did his flow... which is great now that I'm used to it but at first all the akward pauses and whatnot sorta threw me off. Plus at first I thought his lyrics were basically just him saying any shit that rhymes whether it makes sense or not. Took me a couple listens before I got over all that other shit and started paying attention to what he was actually saying.

On another subject, I was in best buy today and found a copy of Mr Lif's Emergency Rations. I've heard that Lif's albums are supposedly good and there's not much of a chance of me stumbling upon it again so I bought it, but I haven't listened to it yet. I wasn't really into The Perceptionist's album.. so what I want to know how you guys would rate Emergency Rations in comparison with Black Dialogue.

Emergency Rations is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Black Dialogue. I was also disappointed with that album and i am a huge fan of Mr Lif and Akrobatik. Emergency Rations is quite an old skool sounding album IMO, i love the tracks Get Wise 91 feat Edan, Heavy Artillery and Home of the brave. I Phantom is Mr Lif at his best though i'd recommend that to.

yeah i really like akrobatik and lif but i didnt really feel black dialogue either, its got a few good songs but fatks 1 came weak on most of the beats. Emergency rations is alright but enters the colossus is better and i-phantom has lifs best song on it in my opinion

I'm not really deep with my music tastes, and frankly I don't really care. However, what do you dukes think of the Westside Connection - Bow Down album? I found myself listening to this album the past 3 days nonstop.
