On the subject of same beats different songs a few pages back, Sage Francis - Narcissist and Mr Lif & Akrobatik - Inhuman capabilities use exactly the same beat and hook.

On that topic, there's this beat I keep hearing, and I know for a fact I've heard it a long time ago, can't remember whether it was an instrumental song or not, but it's driving me crazy. It's a really bassy, funky sample from what sounds like an old-school R&B song, and it's used on Canibus' artifacts freestyle, and at the end of ''The Unseen'' (song, not album) by Quasimoto.

Is there actually a song (possibly an instrumental) where that sample is the focal point or did I just dream it? 😕
