For the hip hop heads: what are your favorites beats of all time?

I just want beats so lyrics, flow, or subject matter can't be an influence on your decision on your favorites.

I'll post mine tomorrow.

one track that i love is Illogic- Severed Fingers

the first beat on that song is incredible in my opinion. i'll upload it tomorrow.

ill upload some great beats

good night

Its a hard choice as far as my favorite beats of all-time goes. Btw, have yall heard the Ghost Unit mixtape, been out for a while now.

First beat that comes to mind is T.R.O.Y, but that's an easy one. I'll have to think about this one. I'll come back later with a list and maybe some tracks to d/l.

sorry? i agree. just a few weeks ago, Nas was still performing the jay-z diss track 'Ether', now their performing together? i say **** the media.

😆 That pretty much sums up how fickle the mainstream industry is. In a way i hope the underground artists we like never get too popular and greedy and have to resort to lame stunts like that.
Looking forward to that Illogic upload, i havent heard that track before. What are Illogics lyrics like on it? Blueprint does his beats right? I love his production on Celestial Clockwork, great use of pianos.
As for my favorite beats - i need some time to think this over. Some 😮‍💨 should help me come to some interesting decisions.

I'm on slsk right now Kool if ya need anything.

^LOL!

u hatin man?

Why is that a big deal? Two MCs who had a bit of a problem are shaking hands. I don't understand the triumph of humanity here.

Jay-Z dissed Nas, Nas shut him up and that was that. Both of them said it was nothing beyond music so I dont get this whole "Oh my! They're friends!" thing.

NAH MAN, you dont get the point. it is BIG. nas and jay deaded they beef. 01 was the biggest moment in rap history, bigger than the real roxanne, bigger than rakim, bigger than nwa breakup. and now they squashed it proving that they are bigger men and pushed they're egoes aside... all the while saying "**** beef" (aka **** fif's wack beefs). they bringing EC back.

HIP-HOP IS BACK!!!

LET'S GO 06!

G-G-G-G-Unit

i could care less wether they are friends or not, Nas is the more talented rapper. jay-z picked a fight he couldnt win, and got his ass handed to him.

I listen to a variety also-- I consider myself the anti-music snob when it comes to listening to different music genres

Not at all. If you think that this is the biggest moment in hip hop history then i'm not trying to change your mind. I just dont agree thats all.
Squashing a beef that i didnt really care about in the first place doesnt mean more to me than all the other actual landmarks in hip hop history. These dudes may think they are the most important thing to ever happen to hip hop but they're not even on my radar. But like i said whatever helps you sleep at night.

I agree with Kool. "Beef" is so freaking retarded, the'yre just publicity stunts that all the little sheeps eat up and buy more of their crap. I once listened to an argument about it and it was one of the most pathetic debates i ever heard. "Naw man **** that, Nas kills Jay Z in freestyle, he's so cool!" "Naw, you're crazzy *****, Jay Z is so hot and he made da song "Big Pimpin"

I shit you not, thats what i heard from these two. 🙁
