Do You Want More is easily the Roots most Jazz influenced album. Gotta go with Swept Away. Classic.

As a Cage fan since the Agent Orange days, it's amazing how emo Cage has gotten. I never saw that coming. For real.
The only link between Cage and the term ''emo'' is Daryl Palumbo's appearance. And that's still a pretty distant one. He's still as edgy and hungry as he ever was, it's just now he feels secure enough to write about what's really going on in that twisted mind of his rather than just sounding like Necro-lite. ''Stripes'' man, that's the most traumatizing hip-hop song I've heard since ''Dance With The Devil''.

Well that's why I said being a fan of his since the early days. It's really like two different people. That's all I was saying. I know he's still "edgy", but not like we was before. Not that it matters, though... Cage has always had a great storytelling ability. It's like I can see everything he's saying.

well not that much better, i like it a lot more though. i dont mind Yy, he really picked up his game on this compared to his other stuff.
