i thought that was the version they used for BW, thats a great track.

No, the sample didn't clear so they couldn't use it.

Can't say that its ever given me a headache, but its made my head shake.
in my opinion, BW is kinda underrated. It's better than The Pretty Tony Album.

Yea, I was disappointed at first but that's only because I was expecting so much. I agree it's better than Pretty Toney.

can somebody recomend me the best roots cd? step into the realm is a sick song...

my favorite is 'Illadelph Halflife'

they were playing tons of underground songs when i went to the LA Auto Show this mornining.

my favourite roots cd is either illadelph halflife or do you want more.

those are classic albums.

My favorite is Do You Want More, but Illadelph is right behind. They're both must owns.

LMAO...That's hip hop?

I've been bumping

Cage- Hell's Winter,
Papoose- Menace II Society,
Saigon- Welcome To Saigon,
Joe Budden- Mood Musik II

....as of lately.

If anyone needs any of those, hit me up on YIM.

Such a backpacker.

I like gangsta rap, but I think there should be a balance on the playlists, some gangsta rap, some positive rap, political rap, etc.

Yeah i second that. Nothing better than having Cormega, Gang Starr, Public Enemy, Illogic and Cypress Hill in quick succession.

Btw D00m, nice avvy, that's one of my all time fav albums.

Cage is iller when he's off the PCP. Hell's Winter is the superior album.

Balance? That's the last thing you'll ever hear on the radio and TV. It's about what will get ratings.

Happy new year guys (yeah i know its late), just got back to civilization. I been away at the beach with the wife and kids so i've been deprived of my KMC fix. How ya'll been? Good to see the thread is still gaining momentum, a few new heads around to.
Finally got my copy of Crafsmen, been on constant rotation for the past couple of weeks. Fav tracks would be Short Pants, Long sleeves, Overrated, By my lonesome, Barbie Doll eyes and Our Turn. Yy wasnt as bad as i'd expected but i would have preferred him in just a few guest spots instead of on every track. It was nice to hear Gruf and Birdapres with guest spots im gonna have to get some of their stuff at a later date. Im also waiting for Will rap for food, Chain Letters and Masters of the universe from amazon to arrive. Cyne is still getting major play from me, did i read that they have African roots D00m? Steady and Out of time certainly have that African sort of backdrop (to me anyways).
Tengu, i hope you've got that J-Live album. I sent it mid December so it should have arrived by now. I still have the receipt from this end if you need any info to trace the package (although thats probably alot harder to do in a huge country like the US).
Looks like there's lots to look forward to this year with a bounty of albums droppin, here's to a great 06! Light em if you got em!

welcome back kool, heres to 2006...again 😮‍💨
