40 shots is alot, but its not like he is averaging 40 a game.
Other than that i agree with it not being a long term plan even Kobe has said as much but the fact remains he has bailed them out plenty of times this season and until the team plays with some balls he probably will have to keep doing that.
We'll have to agree to disagree about Kobe and AI, i love AI's game but he doesnt face double and triple teams every game.

Did Smush not go 5/5 from 3 point land the other night? Um, don't you guys have Lamar Odom? I'm not buying the whole this team sucks so much one guy has to carry them. He just has to trust his teammates. Even when the shots aren't falling. And I've watched a lot of laker games this year and Kobe is mos def a "chucker". Man just loves to shoot... and since you brought up Shaq earlier I'll say this. With Shaq he was frustrated because the game went through Shaq. He couldn't jack up any shot he wanted to (like now) because they had another superstar. Now he can because Odom has no say even though he's complained this year about not getting enough shots. So what about if they get Kobe some help. Can he handle having another star there taking shots away from him?
and Iverson doesn't get doubled and triple teamed? Why not? Teams are just letting him go off for 40 point games night in, night out? and as of right now, AI has more points than Kobe thus far.

Well seeing as there are no objections (yet) i'll respond.
Kobe is a "chucker" no arguments there. Smush did go 5/5 the other night, he also has gone 1/9, 2/11 and so on. As much as he has been a pleasant revelation he has been very inconsistent. Odom is a pass first player even when Kobe is off the floor, he is not an aggressive scorer. As for the offense going through Snaq, he played in the system for years - he may not have liked it but he played the system. But Snaq liked to get his touches every time down the floor, or he wouldnt play D or rebound i dont remember Kobe pulling shit like that.
AI does face doubles and triples but not every game like Kobe, thats not the deciding factor when comparing them its just a point i thought was valid.
You're right i am a Laker fan, have been for over 20yrs. But i dont defend Kobe blindly like some homers. You will notice that i agree with alot of your points and it pisses me off to no end when Kobe takes ill advised shots. But some of the criticism he gets is unjust and mainly comes from the media witch hunt that has been around since the rape trial and the Snaq departure.

yo koolz, i got the album today, funny story though, my parents go it before me and were like "who is tengu man" and they were lieterally gona throw it out, but i saw it on the counter, and gasped when i saw it, so yeah that was the highlight of my day, and im diggin it so far. Fair enough. You made quality points, and even if I disagree with some it would be pointless to "argue" over them anymore. I was kidding about the Homer part, I know you're far from that. I love kobe and all, but I'll continue to feel the way I do about him. True nobody likes him, but my only beef is just about his chucking. He's a great great player, so I'm not hatin.
