@ PointGrimm's subject matter is usually, well, grimm. He's had a pretty ****ed up life and once you hear his music you'll know why. He was supposed to be on the "Live at the BBQ" track with ya boy Nas but was arrested on the way to the studio for ****ing up some dude earlier that day. Later, he and his best friend were gunned down and left for dead. His friend died, but Grimm was left paralyzed and partially blind and deaf. Yet, the man still continued to make dope hip-hop. yeah, i heard about that bullshit.. that's the reason i heard about him in the 1st place. my boy was telling me he has one of the sickest flows of all time and he's making a come back. the other track i have of him is called "king of new york," i think.

that redrum joint is dope. i love the beat kinda sounds like pete rock... and i was surprised when i heard his voice. damn, i thought i was going to laugh because at first i thought it was cookie monster, then i thought it resembled ja-minus the singing... but in the end i enjoyed it (mainly because of the way he rode that beat, he's on point with the flow) lyrically i wasnt impressed but solid nonetheless. <--damn, that rhymed!

Yea Grimm has an album by the same title but that's more of a compilation of tracks he did pre-2000. Sort of a "Best Of".
Glad you peeped the Nine track and enjoyed it. The whole album has some hot beats. Mad slept on in hip-hop circles, but a hidden gem.
Oh by the way D00m, i loved those Talib tracks you posted. I'd only really heard him on the Blackstar album until Point upped his new album, which i thought was great. On the Blackstar album he got outshined by Mos imo and even though i liked his style it took me hearing his solo work to see how good he is. Similar situation with me getting into Common.
