I heard about that but I didn't even believe it was true, to be honest.50 Cent is pissed off at Nas...because Nas did a song with Jennifer Lopez and he didn't? Is anybody else hearing that and thinking "diva"?

nah that's true...
but that wasnt nas' fault. irv gotti told j.lo to get nas instead of 50 to drop a verse on It's gonna be alright. 50 thought that would skyrocket him into stardom, lol
as for the central park shit...
back in 04 nas put out a free concert on cp... i was there... nas was biggin up NY for holding him down, saying "this is real hiphop" then "not that bullshit" "not that 50 cent". LOL!
Will in all fairness, I don't consider 50 Cent hip hop and he IS being considered hip hop.
I only like a couple of Nas's albums anyway, he's one of the few mainstream MCs who I could stomach in their later years. If you look throughout the years, most mainstream MCs have decent debut albums then end up flopping with the cash. Nas almost went that way but I don't think he did, well...he didn't do a Jay-Z, but I still would say Street's Disciple Nas isn't anything of note compared to Illmatic Nas.

I have no trouble believin' it. Fiddy comes across as that kinda person. "Diva" doesn't come to mind--he just a jealous nigga.

really? the cross is one of my favourite songs nas ever made.
That was the only song I liked on it I think, along with Warrior Song because Alicia Keys made that song in my opinion.
Though with The Cross, it was Eminem produced and Eminem uses more or less the same beat on every single song. Either a little drum roll or a military style.
