hey there is a ill ass beat in there that they freestyle too, and i was wondering what song it was from, can you guys help me out. Its the one that sounds like it was done completely by piano.
Point, you probably didn't think "Haha, he means H.I.V" when you first heard it, and I doubt anyone did except Nas, if he even meant that.
I have no respect for MCs who have to have their punches spelled out or highlighted. That doesn't make them good, it makes them pointless. The point of a diss track or diss in a rhyme isn't to be overly clever to the point of being oblivious, it's to make the other person feel stupid, not make the MC saying it, feel smart.
Oh, and don't call me illiterate, "son". We'll chat about illiteracy when you stop willingly typing with the grammatical skill of the common garden caterpillar.

"I think they stop being good punches when they have to be spelled out in bold, to be honest."

First of all, that's precisely my point. You highlighted it to show everyone that you "got it" after 2-3 weeks. How is that a good diss? It's not. Yes, I have heard the song, I own the album and have owned it since he put it out, so hush up.
I never said it was a punchline, I said I don't respect MCs who have to have their punchlines highlighted, or anything else for that matter. It's not an effective diss if it has to be typed out in bold, simple as.

I call it better than yours, that much is certain. There was nothing there grammatically inaccurate enough to cause problems, it was informal typing. You type with spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, construction and every other kind of mistake that it's possible to make.
It's not a fair comparison, "son". By that I mean you and me. Either way, you've been shown up once again for biting off more than you can chew.
