i liked Handle That. it was good, but died out very fast.

Vordul and Vast do not sound good over bouncy beats. Part of the reason why they should be chained to El-P's studio.

Heavily back into The Psycho-Social LP at the moment, seeing JMT in March so I was giving all their albums a whirl the other day. Gotta say, as epic and amazing as the beats on Legacy and Servants are, at this point in time I'm feeling Stoupe's darker, more subtle production on Psycho-Social much more. Bet they won't play any of that stuff in March though. Vinnie would probably be appalled at the lack of death threats contained within his lyrics back then.

Cool. Neighborhood right? Got my tickets booked up last week.

maybe im wrong, but i've noticed Aesop Rock outshines everyone on every track i hear him on. im not really a fan, but im starting to believe he's lyrically the best.

anyone know any tracks where he gets outshined?

i was thinking C-Rayz Walz on 'Bent Life' but Aesop still did much better.

posse slash off vast aires solo album, i havent heard it in awhile but i know his isnt my favourite verse.

although lyrically, its probably still better. 😛

Yeah, I've never been but the nearest tube station is Ladbroke Grove, which is a bus ride and one train away from me. Same route I took to go to Tool.

That's true actually, now I think about it, it's real hard to think of any he's even been matched on, let alone outshined. He even killed Illogic on the same album as he did C-Rayz.

Doom comes kinda close on the Prefuse 73 track they guested on, 'Blacklist', I suppose. I like El-P's verse on 'DeLorean' better than Aesop's, but only for his magical opening line:

''These faggits hit like teddy bears thrown agains wooden doors
By a misunderstood teenage girl in a moment of self importance''

I have absolutely no idea where it is. When it comes to travel and sense of direction in general, I'm at retard level.

I have a feeling they're just gonna perform a bunch of stuff from their two latest albums, and only bits and pieces from their excellent early work. Don't know if Vinnie still operates the no guest verses unless the guest is on stage policy, but if so, there won't be much Violent By Design happening.

violent by design'd be all id want to hear

sup guys, just found this blogspot, pretty sick site to DL beats and instrumentals. good shit 👆 👆

i went back and listened to DJ Shadow and RJD2 albums. i remember El-P was saying how RJD2 is always trying to be like Shadow, but in my opinion, RJD2 has surpassed Shadow. RJD2 has released great albums but none were better than Entroducing, but he has stayed much more consistent than Shadow. what do you guyz think?

RJD2 > DJ Shadow

Ghostface albums? or any albums? Honestly I haven't been feeling the latest Ghostface albums as much as his first two and even Bulletproof Wallets.

and Shadow >>> RJ for Entroducing alone. Plus RJ said he's through with hip-hop. Regardless, Shadow is the ****ing man.

any album, doesnt have to be hip hop either, just good. im tryin to bulk up the music on my ipod. i just bought a 30 gig one.

yeah i dled a new rj album the other day and it was like rnb popish, i didnt know if it was really rj after i heard that shit but i dont know.
