okay, no offense to our mod here, but i was just reading thru the threads airangel closed and i was wondering...
Why did she close the "Harry's Grandparents" thread?? I never knew 'Low Participation' could be a reason for closing a thread 😖 😖 And i dont think it should be... just because a thread is dying, doesnt mean it needs to be closed... people can suddenly be hit be an inspiration about that topic and want to express it in that thread, but since it's closed, they'll have to create a duplicate thread, which i think just wastes space

Yeah I was wondering about all those closed threads myself, not just the grandparents one even though you're right about it's validity. I was thinking what's the point really? I mean, I know she closed alot of irrelevent ones but they weren't even on the front page and I hadn't even known about half of them so it was hardly like they were impact as spam or something and probably would have just died out anyway. This way she just brought alot of old threads back to notice and we have a bunch of crossed out titles cluttering up the first page which doesn't look very inviting. But hey, she must have had her reasons like wanting to prevent them from being used again I guess.
We may not be mods but we can still discuss what goes on in the forum 🙂 as long as we don't go overboard and I agree with you btw on the lack of participation point. If it's valid then it's valid and even if it only ever gets like 3 replies in it's whole lifespan it still has the right to be open in the forum. That's just my opinion though and who knows, it may be against the rules somewhere which we don't know about or haven't read yet and hence would have given her authority to close it but even if that's the case I'm sure I've seen plenty of threads all over the forums that hardly have any replies but still stay open... 😕

Maybe we could PM her, oh and I just noticed the Dumbledore being an animangus one - that looks like such a cool thread and the irony of it is that I only noticed it because she closed it and hence brought it to the front btu now I can't post in it! 🙁 I seriously don't understand the point of closing threads just because they are old and have no activity - shouldn't they just be left alone and later archived when the forum is full?
