I didn't like Slughorn as a person, but I admit he's helpful and will come in useful in the 7th book, I believe... he just reminded me of Lockhart, a little 😄

he couldn't have predicted that. he's an idiot all the time, how is he supposed to know when it'll have horribly drastic consequences?

well he should have thought it the least bit suspicious though. i mean Horcruxes are dark magic, and Slughorn must've thought it was odd that someone would want to know about it. i mean they forbid the discussion of it or something...

but Voldy's pretty good at getting people to tell him what he wants to know. and Slughorn's an idiot.
