Spider-Man

You probably can already tell, but I'm a huge Spider-Man fan, and I can't wait for this movie to come out.
Sam Raimi (the director) seems to be making all the right moves, and that's cool. Plus, this movie has a great cast:

Spider-Man's supposed to come out on May 3, 2002.

this movie looks great ,sam raimi is a great director the same director one of the best trilogy's around evil dea ,evil dead 2 and army of darkness ,the trailer for spiderman was fantastic i cant wait till this comes out

It should get released much earlier, or much later, though. It's gonna get blown out of the water by Star Wars two weeks later.

I don't think so. While Star Wars has a lot of fans, don't underestimate Spidey. The character's been around for years, and he's an American icon.

Yeah, people had been waiting for X-Men forever and while it did could, its no where near as popular as SW. I think Spider-Man will make a lot of money the first 2 weeks then EPII will come out and make a lot more.

Man, I forgot this was a Star Wars oriented site 😉.
But, anyways, as far as I can see, Spider-Man is recieving a lot more attention than Episode II is. The media is giving Spidey more props than SW; the fanbase is growing a lot more for Spidey, while SW has lost a lot of fans after Ep. I.
Don't count Spider-Man out, I think it's going to do a lot better than most of you think. It's going to be one heck of a box office battle, that's for sure.

SpiderMan will probably make $100 million at the box office.

But Titanic was a format-breaker, it behaved like no other movie. It will thrash Spiderman as well. So that statement is entirely irrelevant.

Sheesh, calm down, people. I like Star Wars just as much as the next guy, but you guys are taking it into obessive range.

she's alright, she looks good in spider man, she usually looks bad in the other movies though.

I don't care about the whole 'who beats who in the box office'. As long as the movie looks good then I'm gonna try and go see it. I am going to watch Spider-Man and AOTC.

I've seen nearly every comic book to movie adaptations from the US out there. So count me in for watching and buying Spider-Man when it comes out.
