maybe so that harry could inherit the house? na.....whatever they needed the house for they could have it with sirius around. besides, we don't know what's gonna happen with his house yet.
i'ld say it has something to do with his powers to defeat voldemort. like how he was thinking of sirius while voldemort was possesing him....and all the love for him or what not made voldemort leave. i know he's already lost someone he loved very much....two poeple actually, but he was just a year old then. he probably needed to expierience it again?
