RIP mrs bond
She died because in the novel she died too, and Peter Hunt (director) wanted it to stick as close to the novel as possible.
Whether you like George Lanzenby as bond or not, its a classic bond through and through. It did however lack action in the middle of the film and I'm sure about 45 minutes passes by at one point without any action at all. The Last hour of the movie really makes up for it though.

RIP Mrs Bond? 😑 For a moment there I thought Diana Rigg had gone to the big Ken Adam set in the sky just like poor old Julius! 😮
