because, its very easy to get the mischief pinned on us. we must not leave a trail and be sneaky about it.

hmmmm *thinks* we pin it on ourselves. Naturally nobody would commit a crime and pin it on themselves to get caught. We commit it. and make it look like some OTHER house is trying to get us introuble. they way we look innocent when we are actually not.

well, we could always use a Polyjuice potion and sleeping draft so that when we take on the Identy of house memebers who which by the way shall get the blame. we feed them a simple sleeping draft so they cant see or walk in our plan 😱 (just like in Chamber of secrects 😉 )
