No More Grey Skies.
And only half way there...
.:Chapter one:.
"How would you like to change your lifestyle?" a news reporter on TV asked.
19 year old, Suzanna Hitching stood, glaring at her husband on TV. Her germanshepherd puppy, puddles barked at her.
"What is it puds?" she asked, walking towards the back door. The puppy ran, slipsliding around on the wooden floor. Suzanna groaned as she could feel life growing inside of her, she was pregnate with a baby who was due in a few days. She opened the door as she felt the cool evening air tingle along her arms.
"Hurry up," she said as Puddles barreld outside and ran down the stairs. She sat on the top step, watching the puppy playfully walk on the grass and look at the bugs. He did his business and walked inside. She came in after him, shut the door, turned the TV off and went upstairs, Puddles trailing behind her.
She walked into her room, and sat on her bed. She got changed into a cozy gown. She pulled the covers over her, cuddling up against Daniel, her husband. She pulled Puddles up who made himself comfy at the end of the bed.
Daniel wraped his arm over her waist and rested his head on shoulder. They were asleep within minutes.

The next morning Susanna was rushed to the hospital early in the morning because she was going into labor. They didn't know if the baby was a boy or a girl -yet. The couple both preferred a girl anyhow, a boy would be okay too. Sometimes, though, boys are harder to pottytrain, Susanna thought to herself as she was put in her hospital bed in the northern labor room.
She pulled a BOP magazine off the portable table.
Paris Hilton in jail again. Hah as if thats new. The woman needs to get a life, honestly.
"Hows it coming along?" The nurse asked as she gave her a barf bag. She just groaned.
"Well, I'm here if you need anything," she said as she walked away.
Susanna flipped to a page. It read 'slips, trips, and other silly situations' someone had put in a article that read:
"I had to switch schools halfway through the year because my family moved. I was really nervous my first day, especially because I was a freshman in highschool. Things were actually going well until after lunch. I got the rooms mixed and confused then ended up in a senior chemistry class! I was trying to make a quiet exit when the teacher had his back turned, but i tripped over a backpack and fell into a table, knocking a bunch of glass beakers and test tubes on the floor! Of course everyone looked and the teacher stood over me while I cleaned it up, making me feel like a bigger idiot! - Jen, NY."
Another article titled 'singing squirm'
" I just got home from school and went up to my room to listen to my new Ashlee Simpson CD. I was right in the middle of singing L.O.V.E when my brother's cute friend walked in on me to ask a question. He started laughing and picked up my hairbrush and started mimicing me! I was so embarassed I shut off my CD player and locked myself in the bathroom. I wanted to die!- Sydney, Oklahoma."
Hah. Back when I was in highschool... OH god. I would fall for boys left and right. They'd ask me out, then the next day they act like I didn't even exist! Confusing, I'd say.
"Hey sexy mama," Dan said as he came into the room. Fortunatley, there was one that remembered me.
Hours flew by as the couple chatted and discussed the Babys name. Suze had finally given birth to her baby. It was girl, like they hoped for. The nurse handed them the baby's birth cirtificate.
Baby's Name: Lucy Hitching
Mothers Name: Susanna Hitching
Room #: 8
Date of birth: May 14th
Birth weight: 7 lbs
Doctors name: Dr. Colling
.:Chapter 2:.
"Mom! Can I puh-lease go to the movie theater with-"
"No, you can't, definetly not until you clean up your room!" Susanna cut her off.
Luzy groaned.
'But it's not fair!' I wanted to whine as I walked upstairs and into my room. The only thing visble was my silver laptop, which beeped. Oh great. Hottie Hart Dunst, was messaging me.
Mediator62: So U allowed to go with me tomorrow?
Diamondz: Ummm... I think so.
Mediator62: Okay brb.
Diamondz: Is your sis still driving us back?
Diamondsz: Ok
Mediator62: I thought we were coming back ourselfs?
Diamondz: I think mum will flip.
Mediator62: Try and pursway her... I'll see you tomorrow! mwah.
He signed off before I could say anything. I sat there, staring at the screen. Mwah?! pursway her?! I glanced around at my room; clothes were scattered on the floor, hanging out of my wardrobe, and my sheets were hanging off the bed. My older brother, Jay walked into the room.
"Its about time you cleaned up this pig stye. I bet if your boyfriend saw it he'd be gone before you could make it to homerun" he teased.
"Get out of my room" I snapped, picking up clothes and throwing it at him, who closed my door so I'd miss.
I swung it open and shoved him out of the way.
"God I was just kidding," he said as I walked downstairs to get my laundry basket.
I ignored him and started on my room. Hours past, I still wasn't done. It was soon 9:00 at night, and I was almost done.
"MOM!" I yelled.
"What?" She asked, standing in the door way.
"Oh, sorry, I thought you were in your office. I'm done my room," I said, glancing at her, hoping it would be enough.
"You wouldn't have to do it if you'd just keep it clean," she pointed out as the phone rang.
"So can I go tomorrow?" I asked slyly.
"Yes. Hold on a min, Lu." She said as she picked up the phone.
"What?!" she sputtered as tears welled up in her eyes.
Jay came into the room, I glanced at him.
"What happened?" He asked. I shrugged.
She finally hung up the phone.
"Your father's in the hospital, hes uncoucious. The doctors figure someone shot him," Suze sobbed.
"Someone shot him?" Jay echoed.
"Someone shot dad," I confirmed as I ran into my room and slammed the door. I grabbed my cell phone and started shuffling stuff around on my desk looking for Hart's number.
"We're going to the hospital Lu, so get ready," Mom sniffled as she walked past the door way.
I fumbled with my mini phonebook and dialed his number.
"hello?"
"Um, is Hart there?"
"Not right now, hes with a girl at the theater"
"What?! I mean, 'kay I'll call him on his cell," I hung up.
'hes with a girl a the theater'?!
The fact bristled at the edge of my mind. But I thought he was going out with me. I thought we were together. Well thats just fine, Hart Dunst. Just fine. Your going to get nothing but a cold shoulder from me. I put a red hoodie on and grabbed my Ipod and cell and walked out of my room.
"When are we leaving?" I asked.
"Right now," Mum said and walked down the stairs, Skye, our new dog (Puddles had passed away when I was younger) trailing behind her.
Soon we were in the car, watching the city lights fly by. We stopped at a intersection waiting for the light to turn green as I glanced ahead to see police car lights flashing and two cars that collided together. Paramedics were rushing a injured man into a ambulance as police handcuffed a woman.
We arrvied at the hospital a halfhour later, took the elevator up to the 12th floor and went into section B under intensive care. There was a old woman in a wheelchair that wheeled by as we walked into the little space dad was in. His skin was pale and his eyes were only half open. There was a antibiotic bag hanging from the metal post and there was a large window, over looking the city miles away.
"Oh no." he glanced up.
"I'm just going to take a blood sample," a nurse said as she walked inbehind us.
"I'll be back in a minute," I said as I turned around and wondered out of the inclosed space and towards the doors where the elevators were, unfortunatley Jay was following me.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm making a phone call, what does it look like?" I snapped.
