oh i thought koon faught sidius and besides any good jedi would be able to avoid that blast and for the record koon is a pilot 2 of the 3 times you see him he's in a jedi starfighter

you only see him once in a fighter, when he dies, the other times he's beating the shit out of driods in the arena or at qui gon's funeral

actually you see him in clone wars leading a small areal asualt in a fighter
