Ravenclaw have wanted the Founder's story for a while now and were just trying to finalise the details which are:
1) It's a creative fiction/fan fic about the founder of your House.
2) It has to include how they felt/thought about the process of founding Hogwarts e.g. how Slytherin's views affected them.
3) It should also include what type of person they were.
4) 4-6 paragraphs long
Those are all the pre'requisites^ and everything else is creative like events, which style you write it in e.g. first person or biographical etc
Now, it's true we don't know too much about the founders that is why it's creative but we do have to stick with what do know of them and their characters which means nothing too far fetched e.g. Rowena Ravenclaw can't prefer tigers over ravens/eagles lol or Helga Hufflepuff probably wont be really loud and demanding, Salazar Slytherin wont be nice towards muggles and Godric Gryffindor probably wont be scared of rising to a challenge.
This is the challenge.

right guys, i wrote summit, but i dunno wat ya wanted, i think its also a bit long, but um... well i tried, 😛here goes :
It was a very hot autumns day, unusually hot for that time of year. Rowena Ravenclaw sat beside the lake of the new school for witchcraft and wizardry.
She was a graceful young witch with a quick brain; she had dazzling green eyes, and long thick brown hair. She wasn’t very tall, but held herself in such a way that she seemed taller than she was. Many witches and wizards respected her, and she could be very funny or serious, depending on what mood she was in.
It had been a difficult last few days. First of all there’d been the arguments with Salazar because he only wanted to let in the pure-blooded wizards, and then there’d been the question of how to sort the students once the founders themselves had gone.Rowena sighed. When she was little, she had always dreamed of being able to go to a school, where she would be surrounded by fellow witches and wizards. It had been her ambition since she became an adult to start such a school, and now, with the help of Godric, Helga and Salazar, her dream was becoming a reality. She leant back in the grass and looked across the lake to the castle. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She hoped that the school would live on long after she and the other founders had departed. She hoped that it would unite wizards across the country.
She yawned. The sun was making her drowsy. She got up and walked back towards the shade of the castle. As she approached she could hear raised voices. Looking around the corner she heard Salazar and godric arguing again. She could guess what it was about. It was the same debate about the admission of muggle-borns. Personally, she didn’t have any particular opinion on it. In her house (Ravenclaw, named after her) she would allow both muggle-borns and pure-bloods, and the characteristics which her house would be prided for would be intelligence and hard work. She smiled to herself at the thought of it.
The raised voices brought her out of her daydream, and plucking up her courage she walked in to try and separate the argument.
“Come on you two, fighting never solved anything, can’t we discuss this in a mature rational way?” the icy glares stopped her and she hurriedly went back outside. She sat back down and took out a piece of parchment. She began to sketch the emblem for her house. She thought for a moment and then decided on the raven. It was her favourite animal, and it was also intelligent and graceful. She drew an outline and shaded it in, her thoughts once again drifting to the future. She was looking forward to the next year when the school would be finally opening.
The school had been open for a couple of years, and although on the surface everything seemed to be going as planned, the students were happy, and were learning well, there was unrest between the founders.
Salazar was still continuing his argument about the pure-bloods, and was barely speaking to the others. Rowena could be seen wandering around the corridors, all the arguments were beginning to create a rift among them, and she could see that it wouldn’t be long until Salazar left. She was right, a couple of months later he was gone, with the warning that he had built a secret chamber, that would be opened when his own true heir came to the school. Rowena helped with the search for it, but when nothing was found, she went back to concentrating on her house. She had a number of students, and all of them had the qualities which she herself prided in. they were intelligent, hard-working, and persevering. Many of them achieved good marks, and she was happily anticipating when the time came for them to take their OWLs, she knew that they would make her proud.
((sorry its so long))
😉 🙂
ok....... i had the day off yesterday cuz i was ill, and i decided to try and do a better thing............ here it is........
"Hello there, I'm Divina Crabbworthy, and you're listening to the Wireless Wizarding Network. That was a new group called 'Warlocks Wand'. Up next we have a special treat. We have an interview with the one and only Rowena Ravenclaw. One of the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."
"Well Divina, I have to say that it feels wonderful. I have always dreamt of starting a school for witches and wizards. When we started Hogwarts, we hoped that it would be successful, and that it would unite the wizarding community. It is wonderful that young witches and wizards have the opportunity to learn together, and to actually gain qualifications."
“Yes indeed. I hear that each of the founders has their own house, and they personally select the students that they wish to admit? Is this true?”
“I suppose it is, Godric chooses the bravest students, Helga has the hard-workers, Salazar chooses only pure-bloods, and I admit those who are particularly clever.”
“Right. And can you tell me how you felt when you were starting the school. Any particular worries you had? Any difficulties that you had to overcome?”
“Well, I was a bit worried that the school wouldn’t be successful. I mean it was a huge responsibility, actually teaching magic to others. I suppose the whole time I was nervous and excited, but the others were great. Especially Helga. We became really close. Whenever I had a problem I knew that I could turn to her.
We were lucky I suppose, we didn’t really have any difficulties when we started. We had a great location, and we all got along well together, and agreed on the plans.”
“I notice you say that to begin with you didn’t have any problems”
“Well in the beginning we didn’t. It was later on that the arguments started. It was mainly between Salazar and the rest of us. He didn’t feel that we should let in those of muggle-parentage. He wanted to only admit pure-bloods.”
“You speak of him in the past tense. Does that mean it’s true that Salazar is no longer at the school?”
“I’m afraid so. As I have already said, he preferred to allow only pure-bloods to enter. He didn’t like the fact that we were letting in those with muggle-parentage. Things got worse and worse until he left. But like we pointed out to him. We have to accept those who are muggle-born. If not, the wizarding community will die out.”
“That is so true. So tell me, what about this secret chamber that Salazar claims to have made?”
“Well as to that, there is no evidence. The school has been well and truly searched and nothing has been found. Personally I think it was just Salazar wanting to get people worried.”
“Ok. Now we have some questions that were sent in by our listeners. Abner Combford wishes to know which subjects you would choose if you could have attended Hogwarts when you were young?”
“That’s a hard one, um, I suppose I would have taken Numerology, Divination and um, probably Care of Magical Creatures.”
“Really? Ok, Sandy Salaman wondered if you were an animagus, which animal would you change into, and why?”
“Oooh, that’s an easy one. It would most definitely have to be a Raven, because they are graceful, intelligent and extremely beautiful.”
“Right, and a final question. This one’s from Poppy Hartstring. She wanted to know what is your proudest moment?”
“My proudest moment? Well I have more than one. Is that ok? One was where I first managed to apparate. A second was when Hogwarts finally opened. And I think my proudest was when my daughter, Reyana, recently graduated from Hogwarts, and received 8 ‘outstanding’ at OWL level.”
“I’m sure they were all great moments. Pass on my congratulations to your daughter. Thank you for coming on to speak to us today, and I wish you and Hogwarts all the best. I hope that it continues to be the successful wizarding school that it is today.”
“For anyone who has just tuned in, you are listening to the Wireless Wizarding Network. We have just been speaking to Rowena Ravenclaw. One of the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Tomorrow we will be speaking to Helga Hufflepuff, another of the founders. Up now, is the ‘Moonlight Werewolves’.”
rite....... well........... its kinda not in paragraphs.................... and its kinda lame, but i was bored, so there ya are 😄
😱 😱 😊 Here's Pip's story 🙂 She couldnt post it herself so she sent it and Il post it
It was a crisp autumn morning. There were happy and excited voices coming from the lawn. It was September 3rd, and Hogwarts School of witchcraft and Wizardry had opened just 2 days ago. The walls were still clean and smooth. The desks still new and fresh, waiting for students to occupy them once more. A slight wind blowing through the half open window rustled Rowena’s soft brown hair as she sat silently in her office. A light knock on the door roused Rowena from her thoughts. “Who could that be?” she wondered as she rose to answer the door. All the students were supposed to be outside, enjoying the nice weather, since it was their last free morning before classes began. But, one student was apparently not.
Rowena opened the door, and at first didn’t spot the girl. A small, first year Ravenclaw student, with dirty blond hair and bright green eyes. Her face was full of tears, and her expression sorrowful. There was a single notebook clutched in her shaking hands. Rowena motioned for her to enter. She did so; shuffling in and timidly sitting in the large wooden chair Rowena had occupied moments before. She still clutched her notebook as tight as ever. At first, they sat in silence. Lynn in her chair trying to stifle tears, and Rowena kneeling beside her. After a few moments, Lynn began to tell her story. “P—pro—pro—professor,” stammered Lynn, tearfully. “ I don’t know what to do. I mean, I’m all alone. My family. They...they don’t like me.” Rowena was shocked at this reply, “ Now, what would make you think that?” she asked sympathetically. The small girl pulled from between the pages of her treasured notebook a crinkled, dirty piece of parchment and handed it to the professor. Rowena carefully read it, concern on her face.
Lynn,
I am only writing this because I have to. Our stupid teacher said we had to write a letter to a younger brother or sister. So, I wrote this. You don’t know how glad I am that you are gone! Mum and dad are happy too. The reason they were so excited that day your letter came wasn’t because they were proud of you being a witch. It was because you would be leaving. For 7 years too! And they’ll probably arrange for you to stay for holidays too. Mum and dad have gotten me all sorts of new stuff since you’ve been gone. My own TV, a car, even a HORSE! Anything I want, I can have because they are so happy you are gone. Hope I never have to see you again!
~ Jonathan
Tears pricked Rowena’s eyes as she finished the letter. As she looked up, Lynns green eyes were filled with tears once again also. “It’s just that, well,” she continued. “ I don’t really mind my family not liking me. I like it here. It’s just, I dont have any friends. And nobody likes me. If I’m going to be here for 7 years, I really need some friends. I just don’t know how to make them like me.” Lynn finished, with a hopeful look at her head of house. Suddenly, Rowena smiled, and squeezed the little girl’s hand, “ I know just what to do.” She said. She stood up, and put her arm around Lynn’s shoulder. They walked down all four sets of stairs into the entrance hall. Then, she pushed open the great doors and let Lynn out into the sunshine. They walked over to a large Oak tree, where several Ravenclaws were sitting and seemed to be enjoying themselves.
“ Morning professor!” shouted a cheerful 4th year boy, with black hair and big brown eyes, as he jumped up and walked over to them. “Good-morning Chris,” replied Rowena. Then she pushed Lynn forward. “ This is Lynn,” she said smiling. “ She could use a friend. You seem like you could use one too.” She winked at Chris and nodded. “You know what,” he said now looking at the anxious girl. “ I do need a friend. And you look like just the one for me.” And, with a smile, Chris wrapped his arm around Lynn and led her over to his friends. Just a few minutes later, Lynn was talking and laughing along with the others. She just needed a little boost of confidence, a little nudge in the right direction. Rowena slowly walked back up to the castle, crumpling up the letter as she went.
*sniff*
so sad... so brilliant...
