THE INTER-HOUSE CHALLENGE THREADS ARE BEING REOPENED WITH A 'NO-GRUDGE' POLICY - NO ONE IS TO TRY TO BLAME ANYONE FOR WHAT HAPPENED. IF A PROBLEM THIS HUGE HAPPENS AGAIN, THE THREADS WILL HAVE TO BE CLOSED AND MOVED TO UNHOSTED, WHERE YOU WILL HAVE TO GET USHGARAK'S PERMISSION BEFORE THEY WILL BE REOPENED.
I'm sorry but I just can't have arguments escalate this much in the HP Forum, it takes over the threads as it is the only topic anyone will discuss, and it creates huge dissentions between people. I will try to keep a closer eye on the challenge threads, so it cannot happen again.

- Half of the theory wasnt even relevant. The real theory started at the "Anyways lets get to the point," which was halfway down your essay.

It's obvious alot of research went into this and the only thing I wasn't sure of was the Raven feathers seeing as they were intelligence not health but then I saw it was specifically for Ravenclaws but would still work to a lesser degree for others which was nice touch. I also loved the complex method, it reminded me of a ritual or ceremonial task and then the practical foresight of making enough for supplements which is a good idea for all health related potions/medicines. Listing the equipment was good, it was clear and the pre-reqs fulfilled.

It was plausible because you logically based your theory on a well known reputation the DADA position has and gave a step by step explanation of each teacher. However, it is only a reputation/rumoured 'curse' - what if all those unfortunate incidents were coincedence? I also liked how you gave examples from the books of how Snape helped Harry but all in all it seems lacking. Most of it comes straight from the books and doesn't seem very original. I think it could have been taken abit further addressing the problem that it only makes sense if the curse is real or what if Snape was just being helpful because he was obliged to? Spelling - I found 10 mistakes (mispellings of: Thought was written instead of Though, Phoenix, Defence x3, Possession, Professor x2, Memory and Moment) and the grammar made it difficult to read due to ill constructed sentences and little things like 'whats' instead of 'what's'. Plus the tenses kept switching but I did at least understand what you were saying.
