ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

A few things about the Moonlight Dance:

* I need all of the Prefects of each house to start PMing me the names of all of thier house members who will be attending the dance. This is for the nominees for the King and Queen of the Moonlight Dance.
-on that note, if that member has a date for the dance, please submit their dates name along that member.

* I've decided that the dance is going to be in the Inter-House Thread, just so that we can use it more.
-On that note, let me explain exactly what's gonna happen. Each member will post in the OI thread. This is an RP. I used this example for Cool Wizard whose date is Lianslo. He might write something like this:

"Li, would you like to go dance?" I asked her.
She nodded her head and we both went stolling to the dance floor. To say the least, we were the best out there. No one could catch us. We're guarenteed to be King and Queen of the dance.

People are going to write what's going on.

* I wanted to have the Moonlight Dance a Week Long event, just so more people can be involved. I know with school and everything, it might be hard for people to be on everyday. But with a week long event, you have more opportunity to participate.
-Plus, we've been working hard everyone. I think we need a break and have some fun! 💃

* Lastly, some have already started, but you can start looking for an outfit to wear to the dance. Guys if you wanna wear a Tux or a really nice pants outfit, go right ahead. Ladies, I know you like to pretty yourself up, so you all want to pick out a cute dress, with the shoes, jewlery and purse, by all means, go for it! Make a banner of your accessories.
This is what I'm gonna wear:

-On that note, one of the days, we're going to have a Witch/Wizard with the best outfilt. The two people who win this (1 for the boys, 1 for the girls) will earn thier house 10 points. So choose your outfit carefully!

(if you need help making a banner, PM me your material and I'll take care of it. 🙂)

I'll be able to give you all more day by day details when it gets closer to the date of the dance. Tigress has already asked in Hogwarts Cafe when everyone would like to have the dance. Go there and talk about it. I think if eveyone decides on the beginnng date would be great. Just remember to give me a little time to set the last minute stuff together.

I'm REALLY getting excitied for this everyone. If you have any questions, PM me to make sure I get it. (sometimes I dont' read into everone's common room)

whohooooooooo dance!!! 💃

i had an idea for the caracter as well...so i'll jsut post part of it 😄
name: Jillian Prewett
sister of Gideon and Fabian Prewett (the ones who get killed by dolohov)
hair:black
eyes: aqua
length: around 1.65 meter
parents: mother is head auror devision, dad is head muggledepartment, works with arthur weasley (who is her uncle btw)
family was ancient pureblood one, but her mom is muggleborn
is in the same year as marauders and lily, in Gryffindor. knows Sirius from wizarding privat education before hogwarts (don't know how to call it 😉) Is, appart from James, his best friend. becomes beater in 3rd year (yess, beater 😉 )
loves prnking as well, soemtimes joins the marauders. is often protected by them (although that's ot really necassary (sp))
in her 7 th year her parents get killed, and she goes to Sirius. his mother get's angry for him letting in a mudblood, and tells her to leave. then sirius get's so mad he runs away from home.
(so she's (one of the) reasons he ran away.
in 7th year sirius and jillian start dating, but when they go to hogsmeade after the christmas dance (yess, they had dances in their time 😄) (and they're going through a secret passageway btw, so there are no other students but the gryffindor 7 th years.
(story get's very sad from here)
then, when jillian and sirius are walknig somewhere alone (rest is in the three broomsticks) they get attacked by 10 deatheaters. Sirius get's stunned and Jillian gets hit by the cruciatus curse. (they were attacking her since she is a mudblood, and the last of the prewetts (her brothers were killed a little later than her parents, when they tried to get revenge))
the rest of the group hear jillian scream, and they quickly come to help, but when they get there the deatheaters leave, and jillian dies shortly after (in sirius's arms).
peter get's so scared by this, that even sirius and James weren't able to protect one of their best friends, that this made him join the deatheaters, convinced that that would be the only save thing to do

so, what do you think... 😕 i'm not very good with descriptions, so i'll try to make it more story like (or finish what i was working on before 😉)
i know i'm horrible for killing her, but, well, i felt i had to...
and she would indeed be a reason for peter to bcome a deatheater...

What do we still need?
-- deadline
-- how to present the character - should it be a simple description like posted above ('name', 'hair color', 'age/birth date' etc) or something like a short story about the character?
-- how are the results judged?

ANNOUCEMENT!!!

The Moonlight Dance will begin promptly on Monday November 8-November 15th. The reason being is that I'm in communication with the moderators asking them if I could start a temporary thread titled, "The Moonlight Dance" to make things less confusing. Then after the week, it could be closed.

So I'm waiting for them reply back. Just wanted to keep everyone informed.

Just so you also know, me and the Prefects are coming up with some REALLY good ideas for the dance. A lot of fun activities that will be announced each day, by one of the Prefects. A lot of opportunity to earn your house some House Points so make sure you're involved! 😄

Cheers! (again, remember to have your outfit for the dance) And Prefects, I need the names of all those whose coming for the King and Queen.
