To the Mods: I know and understand it's your job as mods to investigate and ban people who are breaking the rules of this forum. I say thank you for doing so and keep up the good work. HOWEVER, could you please continue this through PM's and not on the public thread? Peeps are getting riled up here and this should be taken care of privately.
To the others: Please don't get upset with those who don't know who Casey is or for their skepticism, it's expected and should be approached that way by the mods. Keep your faith in the love and unity this has brought to those who have cared so much.
Now, IF this turns out to be a joke, the offenders will be banned and this thread will be closed, end of story. If not, then Casey comes back healthy and we're all happy. GOT IT ????????

May I just point out that socking is illegal here because it's seen as deceptive and unfair to other members, but I can guarantee you that nearly all of us understand her reasons, and are not bothered in the slightest by that little mistake.

Because letting our emotions in once would be making an exception, now I learned from ppl in the real world that make exceptions to rules anywhere usualy is a bad idea.
My personal feelings against OTF, and a lot of it's regular members are exactly why I try not to get involved in this unless it is really possible
and is a nice example of not letting my emotions in once (altho this would be for the worse and not for the better)

This thread is slowly getting towards being closed as it is.
There will be time for PM talk, but i think we have as much right to say what we mean on this issue as anyone.

None of us care that she did that, she did not do it to be deceptive, or to be malicious to other members.
She had her own personal reasons for doing so, desperate to continue coming to KMC, she felt it was the only way.
As much power as you guys may have whilst on KMC, you have no hold over any individual's life, so try to understand Casey's personal reasons from a human point of view, rather than from the angle of your great status.

one thing to say, simply...This is an internet forum. What's the worst that will happen? There is no plausible reason to make a sock--I know what happened, and I see no reason, whatsoever, how that's an excuse to make a sock...
...that's just me talking, but her reason's are pretty poor.
