I heard from the guy who plays president that ctu is going to get more interesting and that the finale is his favorite the show has ever done.By the way the leader of that terroist organization is like a cocroach up top I did'nt give anything away for those who want to stay spoiler free.

That sucks big time. Paul died, whats her name slapped the hell out of Jack and theres a possibility that that asian dude wont pull through. Its cool that Palmers back though. Right away you could see why they brought him in. He knew what to do and how to do it. It was awesome.

The last 5 minutes of 24 last night was F*cking GREAT!!!!

i dont watch this show but really want to start watchinig-- how many seasons have there been so far-- i was thinking about renting the dvds

4 seasons first three are out on dvd.

Ok, folks. I don't know about you... but is 24 taking a stab at our government agencies in portraying them as completely incompetent? I mean, my God... let's count the tactical blunders that happened this last week. No one was aware of two guys with a rocket launcher and SMG around the pertimeter that was supposedly cleared by CTU field agents? Tony and his backup allow themselves to split up enough to allow a missing suspect on the premises get the jump on them?

I know we're supposed to throw reality out the window to an extent... but this is bordering on the insane. And now Fox has announced that they're renewing 24 for two more seasons... as much as I will continue to watch, it can only go downhill even faster. And what plotline can they even use for one season, let alone two??? Alien consipracies, and zombie corpses of Teri, George Mason and Nina Myers staggering down Rodeo Drive?

I hope I'm not alone in thinking this way.

i love 24, but being over here in UK and without Sky means i have not seen any of season 4, expect for first two episodes which were aired on sky travel!!. can somebody just say if season 4 is as good or better than the others.

Four is ok, just the least realistic thus far. If I were to rate the seasons... 1,3,2,4.

The timing element has become quite screwy this season, and several of the general procedures used by CTU all season defy common sense.

Well, I thought the first hour of 24 was great, but they concluded the whole plot way too early in the second hour, and the last 45 minutes was just boring dialogue and Baur's "escape". It was a great season overall, but I'm a little dissapointed in the finale.

Actually, it's nice that they set it up so that there is something to build on next season... like the Palmer cliffhanger after season 1. That's what was annoying about seasons 2 and 3, it just wrapped both of them up without really any buildup of a potential issue in the following season. It'll be nice to see if they can do some exploitation of the corrupt government plot.

One bone of contention... I don't see how the Chinese are going to buy into the fact that Bauer's dead without evidence of a body.

That last episode was sad....great season great!!!!
I wonder what Jacks gonna do now that he's in hiding. I kinda liked how it showed him walking into the sunrise with those Hick sunglasses...lol makes him look like he's some junky...only proves to show how his life now is really gonna be in hiding.

they talked about switching the body and the fact that jack wont be around for a while should make them believe it enough

Great Finale!
I'm glad they left room in the last hour for things to calm down.
That's what was missing from other Seasons.
They really did a DAMN good job this season.
I was sad when Jack got dumped by Audrey.
Got sad when Jack and Palmer had their final conversation.
The 24 theme playing at the end with him walking away in the sunrise was GREAT!!! I LOVED IT!!!!
Now it's time to go back and watch this season non-stop back to back

...until someone wants to look at the body for confirmation. What, the Chinese consulate will just say "Oh, ok... so he was killed off, good. And even though you've been lying about CTU being at the site of the attack, we still believe you." Given the extremes they went to, I would expect them to be demanding to see a corpse.

yea but it isnt their place he was killed on us soil they cant investigate they will fake dental records and shti and cremate the fake body, then they can alllow them to monitor DoD and CTU employees to see that for months and months no Jack Bauer is around
