Oh yeah, this happened to me as well. I just figured my PC was doing what it did before and stopping. Glad to see it's fixed now.

Nope it's 2.4.21-9.0.1

But Redhat incorprated most of the advantages of 2.6 into their kernel, like POSIX threads etc

You know, this newest kernel (2.6) is stable but not quite tested...it has some vulnerabilities (sendmail for example) but the 2.4 is well known. Ok, thanks.
