Never before scene cut scenes from the LOTR trilogy

i was watching the commentary in TTT with Peter Jackson Fran walsh and phillipa boyens and they were saying that they originally had a clip that would have been in fotr when the fellowship got to lorien and aragorn was reflecting on when him and arwen first met or their engagement or something but it never made the cut, that arwen and aragorn pic could have been from that

so are the EE dvds good, i mean r they worth the money

i wana know why the moria orcs are chasing the felloship out side! into lorien!! why don't they have these in EE!!!

The Orcs were chasing them because it was in the book. 😉

And they don't have it in EE because the entire scene will be different. In the supposed scene where they are being chased, the Galadhrim (Haldir, etc.) are supposed to aid them...(that's why you can see an arrow just ahead of Aragorn in one of the shots)...but the scene that ended up in EE is just the scene where the Fellowship were first found by the Galadhrim.

Now, I think they used the current scene that we have now instead of the Lorien chase scene because it's either:

1. It's too time consuming already, or
2. We all know outside Moria that Aragorn said that the Orcs can't go under sunlight, but in those shots, it's clear that the Orcs are chasing them at daylight. It could be a mistake in consistency. But then again, they could just manipulate it through digital grading like the scenes in Edoras. I don't know.

ok thanks and i knew it was in the book i was just excited when i saw it cause i heard it was gona be in the ee and it wasn't🙁 and then i saw it here!

probably too time consuming, it wasn't important enough to the story, man wouldn't it be awesome if there was a master cut sometime in the future, like 10 year anniversary and they had all of the shots in that never made it to the ee,

And also the soundtracks, Howard Shore is planning to make a compilation of all the soundtracks in FOTR, TTT, and ROTK plus the extra extended soundtracks in the EE. 😄

AAAAAHHHHH! can't wait! i will so buy that, it will be like star wars, i will buy all of the different editions as they come out,

But wait, let me make myself clear here. I didn't mean that those never-made-it-cut will make it in the special DVD Trilogy edition as a part of final cut because it will make some inconsistencies. We may see those things in a one extra disc. 🙂
