well you gotta understand he lost eveybody truley close to him...even his buudy obi wasn't on the very bestest of terms with him......he had a crush on her since he was little.....and she was all he had to hold onto....so I guess to him she was.......it's kinda romantic.....if you don't think about when he tried to choke her....

I didn't like when he chocked her either, but he was was upset to find out she died.
