Oh! I just remembered how I was able to start a convo on the Matrix in bio! The overhead projecter and the projecter screen are all hooked up to the computer, and a couple times when we were watching a video the projecter would just shut itself off and the screen would go up by itself. Now, we knew that it was because the projecter overheated, but I decided to just randomly yell, "The machines are rebelling against us! The Matrix is taking over!" Which of course made the class think I'm totally insane...but we already knew that, right? 😂

Random subjects that have been brought up in my class include: Star Wars (when we were learning about cloning), X-Men (mutations, she was actually surprised when no one started asking about X-Men until halfway through the unit), the Matrix (NO idea where that one always comes from), Legend of Zelda (ditto)...but it's very amusing.
Sounds a lot like my science class... My friend always brings up random topics and believe it or not, my teacher goes along with him and talks about what he does
Not THAT off topic though... But one time my friend said "I'm two inches shorter at night than in the morning" and my teacher's like "no way" and my friend says "yeah 'cause in the morning I'm taller than Kevin (me) but at night I'm shorter than him"
And one time he started talking about athelete's foot... And the population density of Japan... 😆
