Do Fish sleep???

Does anybody know the answer to this question???

I don't think so 🤪

he sleeps with the fishes though

yeah, fish do sleep. they just hover in place

correct!!

Most of all fish spend time in an energy-saving state that can be called "rest", and we might even call their behavior "sleep", though it is probably different than "sleep" in most land animals.

I shall watch my fish for you tonight. Errr on second thought maybe I won't.

you won't see fish sleeping because they do not have eyelids. but yes, they do "sleep".

i have goldfishies and yes they do sleep 😄 but how can you tell the fish are sleeping? they go to he bottom of the tank and just dont move there ✅ and they dont close their eyes 😖

so itll be a bit like just resting lol

yup 😄 and i turn off the light for them to sleep cause i love my fishes 😍

dont get to attached lol next youll be sleepin with them

i dont wanna drown 😖

no...ya dont wanna be drowning ya'll get all wet 2 that wouldnt be good.

Yes, they sleep with their eyes open... Somehow... Then again they don't really have a choice since they don't have eyelids

But I know they do 'cause whenever I've seen the fish in my aquarium at night and they all sort of just sit down at the bottom, looking wide awake but not doing anything

we rock darth 🪩 thats what my fish do

my fish have had more sleep than i have

i know our fish are just off the shizz arnt they

Fish are the shiz... Though my aquarium kinda sucks at the moment... I had the Fish Plague (not an actual disease 😉 ) in my tank until just a few months ago

Various re-cyclings and mouth fungi and ichs... So I want to get some more fish but I don't know what I want yet

hey i had that problem with my fish and some of them died 🙁
