Does somebody know why the movie is called Garden State/
I was thinking that has something t do with New Jersey 😖

Not sure. I figure it's a New Jersey thing too, but it used to be called Large's Ark. Braff's last name in the film is Largeman.

no idea i dont think thats decided yet.. what i would suggest is find out where movies like Big Fish, House of Sand and Fog and other movies like those played at.. Theres generally theaters that run more low key independent type movies.. theres one like 30 minutes from me that usualy has them all do a little lookin around and you can prolly find a theater that plays movies like it

Good point, I'm sure it will be at the Laemles (i know i spelled that wrong).

Yeah- I love the trailer!! Also I second and third and fourth what was said about supporting indie films! The better they do at the box office, the more great films we get to see in the future!

actually i like that they dont do great at the box office, the dumb "ooh action/hot star" cinema-goers generally miss out and head for the blockbusters.....
once they come out DVD - more marketing and word of mouth means they usually sell well anyway

i think donnie darko made 1,000,000 max but it did over 10,000,000 in dvd and now a directors cut is coming out.. so it does work out well

Yeah! And I like having the knowledge of non mainstream-y movies 🙂

yeah, but it's hard for filmmakers to get financing for non-mainstream movies bc studios forsee them not doing well.

Yeah, I saw the trailer before Eternal Sunshine, too (desperately waiting for it to come out on DVD).

And, while the one song in the trailer is by Frou Frou, another one (I think there are 3 altogether, this is the one with an acoustic guitar) is "Love will come through" by Travis.

And I LOVED Donnie Darko!!!

I like that the bands used are awesome but not overexposed to media. (glad we don't here the same darn songs as in every other trailer out there.) 🙂
