Whats the saddest book that you've ever read?

The Phantom of the Opera is the saddest book that I have ever read.

Well, the saddest book I've ever read was 1984, by George Orwell. The reason I say so is the utter destruction of a man on all levels. I liked it in the sense that it conveyed a message verry strongly, though now its title is a little outdated.

A Bear Called Paddington... no contest 🙁

Clockwork Orange... it wasn't JUST sad... it scared me so much.

Never had the guts to read it ... or just to watch the film ...

when you start you just can't leave it. ✅

The saddest book was.... Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back by Donald F. Glut

See You Later - Christopher Pike.

Always thought it would make a great movie, too.

Hm, I'll have to read some of those ✅

When romeo kills himself for Juliet... sniff...

Maybe Star Wars: Return of the Jedi by something Kahn...when Vader dies...

I couldn't help it....I have a soft spot for animals.

Anne Frank and Me. Sorry, but I can't remember who wrote it. It's really moving!! And I can't beleive that the stuff in this book actually happened!!!
I also think tat The last battle by C.S. Lewis is sad, and the last few chapters of Harry and the Order of the Pheonix. *Sirius!!!*
