Lotr Board

erm...im talking on MSN to feanor

and mine and his kmc lotr board went down....but his is back up

i can visit anywhere else on kmc, just not the lotr forum ?

is it JUST my pc, or is it a 'your in england' thing?

board is suffering from some database problems by the looks of it

even after they slaughtered Tiny Tim 😄

I was fixing a problem on the server which meant the database had to be down momentarily.

The error page you are seeing is probably cached in your temp files. Just delete them and try again. Or just hit F5 on the page.

actually, this time the F5 trick didn't work for me

KMC died for a few minutes 🙁

I was just doing a routine checkup on the database.

Everything is fine now 🙂

how many times a week do you have to checkup the database ?

Nah, usually once a month, or whenever I can spare time.

spearhead i think he just likes to mess around with the site to scare us

im awaiting next april fools day, when he does some trick involving shutting the whole site down
