Okay, I've been pondering something in my head for a while.
What vid game has the coolest weapons?
Halo? Ratchet & Clank? Half Life? Medal of Honor?

when it comes to RPGs, I think it's a threeway tie between the Master Sword (fully powered from LTTP), the Lazy Shell, and the Masamune.

well Armed and Dangerous has the most creative weapons. World's smallest Black hole gun. The Shark gun.
But Counter strike have realistic guns and Call of Duty has historicly accurate guns.

Redneck Rampage had the funniest weapons: The Chicken gun, Bowling Ball. As far as cool weapons nothing can beat the Chain Gun from Return to castle Wolfenstein; that gun just tears things apart.

Goldeneye had such a huge range of real life weapons, and quite a few imaginary ones.

Also, think about how many FPS conventions Goldeneye invented or pioneered: the remote mines were a revolution, and let you lay traps anywhere, rather than simply blasting the garbage out of each other. Superb game.
