Watch the news and look at the finance section. They usually say the exchange rate, its always changing.

But £ means Euro? I'm just trying to find that out...

It means Sterling aka pounds. It's the British currency.

Aha, thank you!! 🙂

You're welcome 🙂

$1.90 to every £1, I think.

I was sure it was $1.60, but I heard the other day that it went up, so........

The Euro is shown by the € sign.

£ is a pound sign

where is that key on a keyboard in the UK. In the US we don't have that...i think we get it by holding alt and pressing a number sequence like how you get the § in §pearhead.

oh and my phone has that on the little keyboard for it...i always wondered what that was for.

Its where the 4 is...you just got to press Alt Gr as well.

ok that's where our dollar sign is.

umm....pardon my stupidity but what's Gr?

on your keyboard you normally have 2 alt buttons

one has "alt" written on it (the left one), the right has "alt gr" written on it.
To get the eurosymbol you press that right alt (alt gr) and hit 'e'
you'll get: €

Yeah, what yerssot just sait ^^

nope no Gr symbol on either of my keyboards (at work or home)

must be a European thing...
