how could one hate anime.THats like saying you hate movies,its the same,but animated.Theres somthing for everyone,comody,romance,fighting,ectect.Anime can't be all mushed together because there are so many generas.Your either a complete idiot,or you haven't foundd the anime that satisflys your specific needs,because its always out there.

Most people don't watch it because they think it's all porn or pokemon. At least people i know, anyway.

just because you don't like anime dosen't mean you should go/whine about it publicly,and to people who like anime no less.I have said it before...if you say you don't like anime you must DISPISE movies,because they are the exact same,just...anime is animated.You have probably only seen crappy animeEX:Inuyasha,YuYu Hakashou,Metabots,ect.Theres really somthing everyone can enjoy in the anime genere.I suggest a good Hellsing or Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust...hmm or maybe Cowboy Bebop...those are good for you picky types.

Bloodlust disappointed me, I advise watching Mononoke-hime and Vampire Princess Miyu.

Everyone has their own type of anime they prefer to watch, none are crappy, nor the best ever. Those are just our complete opinions, but if this person dislikes anime then it is his problem. And if he's going to be immature enough to voice it out in an anime forum then well, that just shows us how smart he is.

I was once told that to like anime you had to have to either be a nerd or Asian... so I guess I could be a nerd, but then again, I was also once told I look Asian. I've also become very sick of anime and all they watch in the club is dubbed, so eww... anime sucks today.

What in the hell is the point of this thread? All it has proven to me is that people that watch and like anime are more intelligent, well their the only ones to show any valid points in this argu- i mean discussion. So you dont like anime? Dont watch it, dont talk about it, dont stir up trouble that revolves around that freaking topic. If your trying to let everyone know your idiots then job well done, if this topic was to prove any point besides that, you've failed.

I don't like the Matrix, so I don't go into the Matrix forum.

These people dislike anime, and come flooding to the anime forum to harass the fans.

You're entitled to your opinions, of course, but I think my method of dealing with things I don't like works better.

i just have a question, why is anime considered stupid or childish? everyone says it's basically cartoons. but, if you think about it, anime's totally different. it's animated, but most have hidden meanings, etc and it's really for adults or mature humans.

now, i must also ask about animated films, including computer animated. matrix, good example. look how many people like the matrix, but a lot of it is computer graphics, which is a sort of animation. so, i must ask, why is it ok to like matrix, but it's stupid or immature to watch anime?

i totally respect if people don't like anime, but explain to me why.

And alot of people dont make fun of people that watch Fairly Odd Parents etc etc, yet they make fun of us for watching something completely different.
