The Hassles of working in the Hotel business

as a few of you know, i work as an assistant manager for La Quinta inns and suites. its an OK job, but the amount of crap you have to take from the guests is ridiculous. our motto is "whatever it takes" to keep the guest happy. well, sometimes the guest takes advantage of this and asks for unbelievable things. sorry, this is where i vent my frustrations!!!!

well, when someone checks in, they have to present valid ID. alot of guests dont get this. they dont understand it is for their safety and security, especially when paying with a credit card. also, guests will make up complaints in order to get free shit.

they get all mad and shit and *****.

specific examples of what they ask for would be...what exactly?

like free nights, free movies, an extra bed, shit like that.
