Naming names

Why do so many people including other user's name on their sigs? And how do people animate it so it moves across the screen?

[ scroll] text [ /scroll] (without the spaces) is how it moves across the screen

and about the usernames, they just put different people in their sig to make it look good or something

is there a way to get it to scroll the opposite direction?

i know that you can use [bounce] as a means of moving the words but i want them to scroll to the right, not he left.

you could do reverse, then bounce...but then the words show up backwords as well 😕
