My best friend got the second book of the Tales of the Otori Clan trilogy for her birthday today... I've yet to read it, but I loved Across the Nightingale Floor.

Are they not just really excellent books? (:

probably, she reads like... anywhere between three and ten books a week. I'd love to be as... dedicated as that. (:

i loved the first book and waited over a year until the third came out but i found them not as good as the first. id like to know if she plans any related series' - possibly with the story of his son

I have only read the first and begun the second, but they are good, yes!
