Ep. III Promo Dates Announced, and a Star Wars TV Series in 2006?

TheForce.net has received new details on the marketing campaign for Star Wars: Episode III.

The marketing campaign starts officially in September, with the Classic Trilogy Saga DVDs and the Ep. III documentary included (which is very important because they no doubt plan to draw new fans to the saga with this). Then November with the release of the teaser poster, the trailer in March and the Movie in May 2005.

The site also has more info on a possible "Star Wars" TV series coming in 2006 which you can read at the link above.

We're continuing to hear about the direction for Lucasfilm and Star Wars post-Episode III. While there won't be more movies, we continue to hear the move is to TV. Sources are now telling us that there WILL be a TV series in 2006.
They don't know whether it'll be live-action, animated or both - Lucasfilm itself will decide on this later this year!

Thought that was a bit of interesting stuff; from comingsoon.net and theforce.net 🙂

This is interesting news. I haven't heard of that until now. I hope if there is a series that comes out, that it's a good as the clone wars series, well at least I like it.
