Halloween

I just bought the DVD not too long ago, this being a classic I was ashamed I had never seen. I have really been missing out!

I like Halloween 6,although a lot hate it,cause of that ''thorn'' thing.......

I was just watching Halloween Resurection and thought, "Make the 9th movie already!"

Yeah, you can't let the franchise end on the crapfest that is Halloween: Resurrection.

Got some awesome news for those waiting for the sequel (for whatever reason you may be). They apparantly JUST signed Takashi Miike, the talented japanese director of Audition, as the director for it. This movie just took a huge step up, IMO. Awesome news, I'm actually excited for it now.

I actually liked H2, H4, H6 and H20 not as much as the original but I thought they were watchable, I even liked H3 *shrugs* but it's been almost 30 years and I think it's time to end the series [they should've ended after H2 was released in my opinion] and let Michael Myers rest in peace. Which of course doesn't mean I won't enjoy Halloween 9 when it's released. 😛

And I thought the band's name was Helloween?

I reaaaally liked the first two Halloweens, but then when 3 came out, I was so damn disappointed. It shouldn't even be called Halloween 3! It should have been something totally different. It didn't even have to do with Micheal Myers, so I don't know why they even considered it another Halloween.

I really don't understand the 4th and 5th, I think. They have that one little girl....I still don't understand how she fits into the stories, but I've only seen like, each of them once.

After the success of Halloween and Halloween 2 they had a little more money and they wanted to make something different. As most of us would agree, it didn't work out that great but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

As any Halloween fanatic would know, there are two storylines and one of them ignores parts 4-6. The little girl is Jamie Lloyd, Laurie's daughter that she abandoned. Read a bit about the series and it will all make sense [maybe not all because even us Halloween fanatics can't find a logical way to connect all 8 parts of the series but] you'll understnad the movies a lot better. http://www.ohmb.net/index.php is a great place to fulfill all your Halloween needs.

I dont think i can bring myself to watch halloween 2, i read the coroners report of it...eww needles going into peoples eyes

I quite enjoyed the movies, resurrection and 3 were the only embarrassing ones if you ask me...

Hmm I think this is the right place to ask.. (I dont think horror fans go to the art forum much).. but I wanna try and get michael myers down pat.. so what about this drawing would I have to change to get a closer likeness of him?

like some parts that I did feel characteristic to him.. but others are just.. bleh..

Like everyone here ive seen and got all the Halloweens out so far apart from Halloween 6 the producer's cut. Can someone tell me if it's any good or the same as the crappy films in the series.

Well, depends. If you get the good quality version, its not too bad. Just has a different twist to it. Honestly I like the original cut the most, but its ok.

Halloween 3 was not a real bad movie and would have done a lot better if it had a different title,but I hate this movie simply for the fact they included it in Halloween.

Yeah, Halloween 3 just plain blew. It was worthless and should have never been made. Parts 1 and 2 are the only good ones. 😉

I liked all of the Halloween movies, except Ressurection.

I only like the curse. The rest suck.
