Sorry, but whoever wrote this, is very biased. He pretends not to be, but he certainly is. He uses a very crappy point system to make Batman look better than Superman (for example : logo of Superman is just an s, too weak, so Batman gets a point). Come on, how stupid can you get ?
Irritating article. At the end he even says Batman is the smartest man in the DC universe. Sure, and I'm the smartest man in the KMC universe 😉.
But he made one remark I didn't know yet: it seems there were 3 (three !) great Batman films. A pity he doesn't tell us which films they were, because I haven't seen one great Batman movie 🙂. The first one was the best, and it still was very average.
The article is a no-brainer : 0 points.
As someone who likes Batman and finds Superman annoying, I thought it was a pretty stupid article. A very stupid article, actually. Just to pick one examnple:
"An important character development device was finding a weakness. Superman's is kryptonite, a rock from his exploded planet that strips him of his power. Batman's was the psychological damage done to him by witnessing the murder of his parents. So what this comes down to is Superman is afraid of rocks and Batman is afraid of letting people hurt others as they hurt him and his parents. It's a no-brainer: Batman - 1, Superman - 0."
This is a ... really strange (the most charitable adjective I could thing of) ... thing to say. Both Superman and Batman could be said to be afraid of letting innocents be hurt. Superman is vulnerable to Kryptonite, not afraid of it. By the logic that a superhero must be afraid of anything that could do him harm, Batman must be afraid of bullets, knives, clubs ... the list goes on.
I'm going to assume (perhaps optimistically) that this is supposed to be a joke. It's not funny, and it would still be stupid, but less stupid than if it is supposed to be taken seriously.
