John Noble (Denethor) +semispoiler (EE)

well, as I may have mentioned before, I host a TV show in Australia and today I got to interview John Noble who plays Denethor and Stephen Ure (Grishnakh, Gorbag).

Now ofcourse being a total LOTR nerd, I asked about the Palantir...
and unfortunatley it was never filmed, so even in the EE Denethors madness is left unexplained (aside from the loss of family).

but I'll try and get the interview MPEGed or something and put it up somewhere, at the very least i'll post some screen caps on this thread.

Noble was a really fun and friendly guy too. I even got a hug at the end of the interview... 🤣

make him do the stunts in front of the audience...hit him in the face with a staff

John Reese Davies was suppose to be there aswell, btu his flight got postponed and he's not comming to sydney now 🙁

also I forgot to mention, I asked Stephen Ure if there would be a super extra special extneded version or something, and he said that there was going to be an R rated version... with lots of gore and blood (which quite frankly is what Peter Jackson is famous for). He said that for the whole trilogy the fimed over 80 miles of film.

he also mention he played a third orc, in the first film who was sarumans Leitenant orc, but those scenes ended up on the cutting room floor...

but i'm pretty phsyched for the horror-gore fest version... eh?

Strange, again Decipher differs from the film here -
