while looking for tolkien poems, songs i stumbled across 'the battle of evermore' by led zeppelin.....and it had 'more zeppelin songs for tolkien' so i went...and it was there

i think in parts it relates

does, and jimmy page (guitarist... my idol) said that Robert Plant (lead vocals) was obsessed with lotr and alot of other english legend... it's probable, ramble on has a shout out to gollum, battle of evermore has ringwraiths, there are others, i can't think of them, i'm pretty positive the rain song has tolkein roots as well, but i've never sen it proven or disproven
