Another thing I kind of disagree with, is the female counterpart, Brittney Murphy. I have been following her career since she played Daisy in "Girl, Interrupted", and she was a fantastic actress, then all of a sudden, she has this massive weight loss is "Driving in Cars with Boys" and then she looks cadaveric for "I'll never tell" with Michael Douglas..... I think the girl is anorexic big time. She was quite chunky as Daisy, and now she looks, even with makeup and great hair and clothes, she looks sullen, sunken eyesockets, dark circles around her eyes, and this is WITH the help of makeup.
I think she was totally wrong for the role, although she is a good actress, the energy that eminem projects, the anger, could have used a stronger counterpart.

I liked the film, giving insight to the rap scene. I used to think rap was just some black blokes getting some old song music and talking all over it with a certain american accent.

eminem is great in the film.

Movie was pretty funny at the end but it wasnt really that good i find it kinda boring but still ok to watch

I never bothered renting that. Eminem's music is funny at best, but I don't care to see him "act", when for al lwe know, it may be a farce.

The "battles" at the end were funny but that was the only really good part of the movie and it would have been better if e got to see britney murphy naked

8 Mile was a waste of time...........

The premise of the entire movie is that Eminem doesn't have the courage to battle rap in front of a large group of people.........then he gets the courage and battles the guy at the end in front of people.

The entire fucking movie was about Eminem learning to speak publicly...............it was dumb.

i liked it. Marshal was very convincing, and the rap battles were hella good ✅ also, it wasnt just a merchandising vehicle for Eminem which was good to see. its real down to earth and low-key, nuthin to flashy.

I really liked this movie I'm not a big fan of all of these Newer Gangsta movies. But I'm a big fan of Eminem. So what do you all think of it.
